The Dumbo vacuum lifter is a light, easy-to-use, and handy tool for handling metal sheets. The lifter has a large vacuum receiver, which guarantees quick grip operations. Models in the Dumbo product family come with either a pneumatic or electric pump.
The vacuum lifter with a pneumatic pump is highly suitable for jib cranes, as the pneumatic connection is easy to install for them. The lifter does not require a supply of electrical power. Suction is switched on/off by means of control buttons on the handle, being easier and safer to use than the conventional slide valve.
The vacuum lifter with an electric pump is suitable for both overhead and jib cranes. A unique control system monitors the functioning of the lifter, sending an alarm signal in an emergency situation; for ex. due to insufficient grip leading to a leak. The LCD screen of the control box displays also the other warnings and reminders of maintenance. Additionally, the control system stops and starts the vacuum pump automatically, when necessary, thus saving energy and extending the pump life.
