Skanveir Tantor vacuum lifter makes lifting and handling of plates easy and fast. One operator can handle large, heavy plates ergonomically and safely.

Only the upper sheet is taken by the vacuum lifter, thereby eliminating the complicated and timewasting task of separating the sheets in order to attach them to wire ropes or clamps. Use of the vacuum lifter will avoid such damage as scratching and bending. The lifter can be unhooked easily from the crane, allowing the use of crane for other lifting needs.

For heavy-duty lifting

Tantor vacuum lifting beams are engineered for demanding industrial duty. It's robust construction, high quality components, and excellent surface treatment ensure long troublefree operation.

Tantor standard series vacuum lifting beams are applicable to plate lengths from 5 to 13 meters and weights from 1,4 tons up to 15 tons.

Reliable vacuum suction pads that resist oil and wear. Special material pads for hot plates.

Double spring attachment of suction pads. The upper springs allow equally distributed loading for each suction pad. The lower springs ensure an easy grip on bent or curved surface.

Distance between the suction pads can easily be changed to suit different plate sizes.

Each suction pad can be switched off independently.

Tantor vacuum lifter complies with the requirements of European safety standard EN 13155. Safety factor of every Skanveir lifter is at least 2. Load release is done by two-action control. At energy supply failure, Tantor is capable of holding the load for 20 minutes.
